mobile_link
A mobile-specific landing page URL. Used when a site serves different content on mobile vs desktop — typically a separate m. subdomain or AMP page. Most modern responsive sites don't need this field.

Why it matters
Mobile users land on the mobile_link if set, otherwise they fall back to link. For sites with separate mobile experiences, omitting mobile_link sends mobile users to the desktop URL which may render poorly. Modern responsive sites with one URL per product don't need this at all.
Mobile_link exists for sites with separate mobile experiences — typically a m. subdomain or AMP pages. Most modern responsive sites don't need this field at all because the same URL serves all devices. The field is increasingly legacy.
The cases where it still matters: large e-commerce sites that maintain separate mobile codebases (still common in some Asian markets), publishers serving AMP for mobile, sites where mobile and desktop content genuinely differs. If your site is responsive with one URL per product, leave the field empty.
The validation rule: mobile_link must point at the same product as link, just at a different URL. Different product than the desktop link gets the listing rejected — channels verify the mobile destination matches the desktop one.

FAQ
Do I need this if my site is responsive?
No. Responsive sites with one URL serving all devices skip this field. Only needed when desktop and mobile genuinely serve different URLs.
