Channable and AI Shopping Feeds are both product feed tools, and both can turn a feed into branded catalogue ad images. Channable is the bigger platform: alongside feeds it covers marketplaces, PPC campaigns and a comparison shopping service. AI Shopping Feeds is narrower, focused on feeds, AI optimisation and catalogue ad creative, at published flat prices.
This comparison uses Channable’s help centre and Shopify App Store listing, listed under Sources, checked on 28 October 2026. Channable’s main website didn’t load for us during research, so we haven’t quoted its pricing page directly. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it.

Pricing
Channable’s help centre describes three layers. A package sets your items, projects and channels, from Small (500 items, 1 project, 3 channels) to XXL (100,000 items, 15 projects, 75 channels), with Enterprise above that. Each product variant counts as an item, and each target country on a channel counts as a separate channel. A Core plan (Standard, Plus or Pro) sets the features and how often data syncs. Modules add Marketplaces, PPC and Creatives.
We couldn’t load Channable’s own pricing page, so we’ve used its Shopify App Store listing for prices: bundles from $104 a month (Core Standard with CSS), up to $215 a month for the bundle that includes PPC and Creatives. Your price will depend on your package and modules, so get a quote. Channable’s pricing FAQs say there are no setup fees and no long-term contract.
AI Shopping Feeds has two plans. Growth is $29 a month ($279 a year) with 10 brands and 30 feeds. Pro is $49 a month ($469 a year) with 100 brands and 300 feeds. Both allow up to 100,000 products per feed and include the DPA Creative Editor, and both have a 7-day trial. AI optimisation uses credits, bought separately from $5, and rendering catalogue ad images doesn’t use credits. Background removal in the editor is free for the first 50 photos in each feed, then uses 1 credit per new photo.
Feed management
Both tools import products, change them with rules and export them to channels.
Channable’s rules follow an “IF the items meet X criteria, THEN do Y” pattern, with actions such as building item groups, calculating values, modifying text, splitting items and excluding products. Shared rules need Core Plus and rule versioning needs Core Pro. Its AI text generation, on Core Pro, writes titles, descriptions, Q&A and product highlights using your own Gemini or OpenAI connection.
Our rules set, rewrite and fill fields, and leave out products, per feed. AI Product Optimisation rewrites titles and descriptions and fills missing attributes, paid for with credits rather than a plan upgrade, and the feed audit flags missing and invalid values before you export.
The image editor
The two editors are more alike than different.
Channable’s Image Editor has text, image and shape layers, a canvas with snap-to-grid, a brand kit (logos, named colours and custom fonts), and a “preview on items” view. Conditional objects show or hide a layer with IF/THEN rules, for example hiding a sale badge when sale_price is empty. Pre-made templates come in 20 themes, including Black Friday and Christmas, in 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16. Image rules then decide which template each item gets, by brand, sale status, category or channel, and an item can carry up to five templates in separate fields.
Channable also offers AI background removal, and AI image generation on Core Pro. Its Meta variant testing sends several templates to Meta through additional_image_link so you can test them in Meta’s own reporting.
Our editor has text, shapes, uploaded images, the product image and groups, with 17 placeholders such as {{title}}, {{price}}, {{discount_pct}} and the five custom labels, and a brand kit with up to four colours, three of the bundled fonts and a logo. Any layer can be shown only when a condition is true. You start from 43 starter layouts or a blank canvas, and each design lays out natively in square, portrait and story rather than being stretched. There are no custom canvas sizes, and the only AI in the editor is optional background removal on the product photo. A feed can have a main design and up to four extra designs, each with an optional rule, such as on sale or a product type, and optional start and end dates. Each product gets the first extra design that matches, otherwise the main design.
Getting images to channels
In Channable, an image rule writes the image URL into a field, which you map into a channel’s export. Its FAQs say the image URL is generated during the feed export and the output is PNG.
In AI Shopping Feeds, published designs go to your Meta catalogue through our catalogue sync and into your feed URLs and downloads, and re-render when the feed changes. Our Google Merchant Center sync always sends the original product photos, because Google doesn’t allow promotional overlays on main product images.
Beyond feeds
This is where Channable is in a different category. Its modules add marketplace order sync and a repricer for Amazon and bol, PPC campaign management for Google, Amazon and bol, Insights that label products by ad performance, and a CSS for Google Shopping in the EEA.
AI Shopping Feeds doesn’t sync marketplace orders, reprice, run a CSS or create ad campaigns.
