We make one of these tools, so we’ve tried hard to be fair. There are several good tools for putting your brand on catalogue ads, they work in different ways, and the right one depends on your team, your budget and how many channels you run.
This guide sums up seven, including ours. Each summary comes from the vendor’s own pages, checked on 28 October 2026, and links to a fuller comparison where we’ve written one. Prices change, so confirm with each vendor before deciding. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it.
Three kinds of tool
Before the list, it helps to know there are three broad approaches:
- Template editors. You design a layout once, and every product fills it with its own photo, name and price. Confect, Marpipe, Hunch, Channable and AI Shopping Feeds all work this way, with different extras.
- AI generation. The tool generates a new creative for each product, often a lifestyle scene. OptiQube works this way, and Marpipe and Channable offer AI images alongside their editors.
- Managed services. A team designs and manages your catalogue creative with you. Socioh works this way.

Confect
A dedicated catalogue ad creative tool. Design rules choose a whole design per product, scheduled design changes are supported, and you can publish several designs per catalogue to test in Meta. It offers AI background removal and video on higher plans, and publishes to Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest and more. Pricing scales by products and markets, starting at $299 a month with a 30-day trial.
Suits: brands that want catalogue creative across many channels and built-in design testing. Full comparison.
Marpipe
A creative platform with a free plan for designing and previewing, and paid plans from $199 a month for publishing. Designs use filters to decide which products they apply to, and Marpipe adds AI-generated images, countdowns as an add-on, and product-level video on Enterprise. It covers a long list of channels, including Google and ChatGPT, and offers free feed tools plus a managed service.
Suits: brands that want AI imagery, video and many channels, with room to grow into a managed service. Full comparison.
Hunch
A creative and campaign platform for paid social. Its editor has per-layer conditions, discount and countdown widgets, an AI panel with background removal, and Figma and PSD import, and it makes catalogue video. Beyond creative it handles bulk and hyper-local campaign launches and automation. The main platform is priced on request, and its self-serve Hunch Light is priced by items ingested.
Suits: larger paid social teams on Meta, Snapchat and TikTok who want creative and campaign tools together. Full comparison.
Channable
A feed management platform with marketplaces, PPC and a comparison shopping service. Its Image Editor, part of the Creatives module, has conditional objects, a brand kit, themed templates in 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, and image rules that assign templates to products. Pricing is modular; its Shopify App Store listing shows bundles from $104 a month, with Creatives in the $215 bundle.
Suits: multi-channel sellers, especially on marketplaces, who want feeds, ads and creative in one platform. Full comparison.
Socioh
A managed service: its team runs a creative call, presents initial concepts, iterates with you, and checks every product. It makes catalogue ads in 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 and product-level video, for Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and AppLovin. Pricing is by monthly online revenue, from $1,100 a month, and its site says it’s rebranding as goodAds.ai.
Suits: brands with large Meta catalogue budgets that want specialists to do the work. Full comparison.
OptiQube
An AI-first tool for Meta catalogue ads. You describe what you want, it generates directions such as lifestyle scenes or badge styles, and you refine by asking for changes rather than editing. It delivers images as supplementary feeds and can create paused Meta campaign drafts. Plans start at $29 a month with a set number of credits; its help centre says each image costs 40 credits.
Suits: brands that want lifestyle-style creatives without designing, and only need Meta. Full comparison.
AI Shopping Feeds
Ours. A product feed tool with a catalogue ad editor built in. The DPA Creative Editor has 43 starter layouts, 17 product placeholders and per-layer “Show only when” conditions, and lays each design out natively in square, portrait and story. Around it sit feed import, rules, AI Product Optimisation and a feed audit, with Meta catalogue sync and a Google Merchant Center sync that sends original photos.
What it doesn’t do: video, AI-generated images or designs, several designs per product for testing in Meta, or campaign creation. A feed can have up to five designs, each product getting one by rule or date, and the editor can remove a product photo’s background. Growth is $29 a month and Pro $49 a month, both with a 7-day trial. Rendering doesn’t use credits; background removal does, after the first 50 photos in each feed.
Suits: brands and agencies that want to design their own catalogue ads and manage the feed in the same place, on a smaller budget.
How to choose
Ask four questions:
- Who will design? If nobody on your team will, look at a managed service or AI generation. If someone will, a template editor gives more control.
- Which channels? If it’s Meta and Google, most tools cover you. If it’s TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest or marketplaces too, check each tool’s channel list.
- Do you need video? Several tools here make product-level video. Ours doesn’t.
- Is your feed in good shape? A creative tool can only show the data it’s given. If titles, prices or attributes need work, a tool that also manages the feed saves a step.
Whichever you pick, start with a few clearly different designs, check them against products with long titles, missing data and sale prices, and judge them on results in Meta, not on how they look in the editor. Our guide to DPA templates covers the layouts worth trying first.
Frequently asked questions
What is a DPA creative tool?
A tool that turns each product in your catalogue into a branded ad image, using the product's photo and data such as its name and price, and sends those images to your Meta catalogue or other channels. Meta's own catalogue ads show the plain product photo unless you change the images.
Which DPA creative tool is cheapest?
Of the tools in this comparison, AI Shopping Feeds and OptiQube's Starter plan both start at $29 a month, but they charge differently. OptiQube's plans include a set number of AI image credits, while AI Shopping Feeds' rendering doesn't use credits. Its optional background removal is free for the first 50 photos in each feed, then costs 1 AI credit per new photo. Prices were checked on 28 October 2026.
Do I need a DPA creative tool to run catalogue ads?
No. Catalogue ads run on Meta with your plain product photos, and Meta has some built-in catalogue creative options. A creative tool adds branding, prices and badges to every product image, which can make catalogue ads look like your brand rather than any shop's.
