OptiQube and AI Shopping Feeds both make catalogue ad images for Meta from your product feed, and their entry prices are similar. The way they make them is completely different. OptiQube uses AI to generate a new creative for each product, often a lifestyle scene. AI Shopping Feeds puts your own product photo and feed data into a design you build in an editor.

This comparison uses OptiQube’s own website and help centre, listed under Sources, checked on 28 October 2026. OptiQube is a young product and changes quickly, as its changelog shows, so check its pages before deciding. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it.

The short version

  • Choose OptiQube if you want AI-generated lifestyle creatives without designing anything, are happy to work by describing changes rather than editing, and only need Meta.
  • Choose AI Shopping Feeds if you want exact control over layout, colours and type, want your real product photos shown as they are, and also need feed management for Google and other channels.

Pricing

OptiQube’s pricing page lists three plans, billed monthly or at a lower annual rate:

  • Starter: $29 a month ($25 annually), 3,000 credits, 1 feed.
  • Growth: $79 a month ($65 annually), 10,000 credits, 3 feeds.
  • Pro: $189 a month ($160 annually), 25,000 credits, 6 feeds.

Its help centre says an image costs 40 credits and you only pay for finished images. At that rate, Starter’s 3,000 credits cover 75 images a month. Top-ups start at $49 for 5,000 credits.

AI Shopping Feeds charges by brands and feeds, not images: Growth at $29 a month ($279 a year) with 10 brands and 30 feeds, and Pro at $49 a month ($469 a year) with 100 brands and 300 feeds, both with up to 100,000 products per feed. Rendering catalogue images doesn’t use credits, so a design can cover every product in a feed and re-render when prices change at no extra cost. The one exception is optional background removal, free for the first 50 photos in each feed and then 1 AI credit per new photo.

The difference matters for larger catalogues. Generating a separate AI image for every product is priced per image. Applying a template is not.

How the creative is made

OptiQube works like a brief to an agency. You describe what you want, for example lifestyle catalogue ads for a spring sale, and it offers four directions, such as a lifestyle scene, a badge style, a product-and-lifestyle split, or call-outs pointing to features. Its help centre says you never edit with design tools: you ask for a change and it regenerates. A style is previewed on three products before it goes into a campaign. It reads your colours, fonts, logo and tone from your store into a “Brand DNA” profile, and can rebuild the layout of an ad from a screenshot.

Our editor works like a design tool. You start from one of 43 starter layouts or a blank canvas, and place text, shapes, images and the product photo exactly where you want them. Seventeen placeholders pull in feed data such as the title, price, discount and custom labels, and any layer can be set to show only when a condition is true. Every product in the feed then fills the same design, laid out natively in square, portrait and story. The only AI in the editor is optional background removal on the product photo. Nothing is generated.

So the real question is what you want in the image. OptiQube creates new scenes around your product. We show your product photo, as you shot it, in a layout you control.

Prices on the image

OptiQube’s changelog announced live prices in October 2026, showing the current or crossed-out sale price on creatives and updating when the shop changes. An older help article advises keeping prices in the feed because a price baked into an image doesn’t update on its own. Check with OptiQube which applies to the styles you use.

In our editor, the price, sale price and discount are placeholders, so each product’s image shows its own current price and re-renders when the feed changes.

Getting images to Meta

OptiQube gives each campaign hosted feed URLs, including a supplementary feed for each style that swaps the AI image in for matching product IDs, and a full feed with the images already replaced. It has a checker for whether your catalogue’s IDs match, and it can upload approved creatives into a paused Meta campaign draft.

AI Shopping Feeds sends rendered images to your chosen Meta catalogue through our catalogue sync, or through a feed URL. We don’t create campaigns.

Feeds and other channels

OptiQube’s help centre and pricing page describe it as creative for Meta. It imports from Shopify, WooCommerce, XML feeds, Meta catalogues and some regional platforms, and outputs image feeds. It isn’t a feed management tool.

AI Shopping Feeds is a feed tool with the creative editor built in: import, rules, AI Product Optimisation for titles, descriptions and attributes, a feed audit, and exports for Google, Meta and other channels. Our Google Merchant Center sync sends original product photos, because Google doesn’t allow promotional overlays on main product images.

Which to choose

OptiQube suits you if:

  • You want lifestyle-style creatives without a photoshoot or a designer.
  • You’re happy to steer by describing changes rather than editing.
  • You only advertise catalogue ads on Meta.

AI Shopping Feeds suits you if:

  • You want your own product photos shown, in a layout you control to the pixel.
  • You have a large catalogue and don’t want to pay per image.
  • You also need to manage and fix your feed, including for Google Shopping.
  • You manage several brands or feeds.
