A grouping label that maps items to account-level shipping rules. Lets you set 'oversized' or 'hazmat' or 'free_shipping' labels on items and define the cost or service per label at the account level.

Why it matters
Instead of populating shipping per item, you tag items with shipping_label and configure the rules once at account level. Useful for catalogs where shipping varies by category but not by individual SKU.
Shipping_label is for account-level shipping rule mapping. Define "oversized" shipping rules once at account level; tag items with shipping_label: oversized; the account-level rules apply automatically. Cleaner than populating shipping per-item when many items share the same rule.
The pattern: define 3-5 shipping rules at account level (standard, oversized, hazmat, free_shipping_eligible, refrigerated). Tag each catalog item with the appropriate label. Updates to shipping cost happen at the account level — change "oversized" from £8.99 to £9.99 in one place, every item tagged oversized inherits the update.
For catalogs with many shipping variations (some flat rate, some weight-based, some destination-dependent), the label approach scales better than per-item shipping data. Most teams find 3-5 labels cover 80%+ of items, with per-item shipping only for genuine exceptions.
