shipping shipping Fix “Missing shipping information” on Google Merchant Center
Google can't determine shipping cost for the item. Either account-level shipping settings don't cover the item's destination, or item-level shipping is missing where required.
What you see in Google Merchant Center:
Missing shipping information
API identifier: missing_shipping
Shipping cost can't be determined. Account-level shipping settings don't cover the destination, or item-level shipping is missing where required.
Verify account-level coverage for every targeted country. Populate item-level shipping only for variant cases (oversized, hazmat, perishable).

- 1
Verify account-level shipping coverage
Merchant Center → Tools → Shipping and returns → Shipping services. Verify settings exist for every country the catalog targets.
- 2
Add item-level shipping where settings can't cover
Populate the shipping field in the feed for items with variant shipping (oversized, hazmat). Format: country:region:service:price.
- 3
Refresh and verify

FAQ
Should I always use item-level shipping?
No — account-level is preferred when shipping is consistent. Item-level adds complexity. Mix them only when item-specific shipping is genuinely needed.
